I aim to better understand the trade-offs faced by decision-makers when developing the transport network of a city. More specifically, my research focuses on the conflict between optimizing for equity or justice and optimizing for more typical metrics like traffic flow and travel times. This is done using the transport network of the Paris metropolitan area.
After a Bachelor’s in Physics, I dedicated myself to musical theater for two years while teaching physics on the side. During that time, I discovered the field of policy analysis and became fascinated with teh idea of bettering institutional decision-making through science.
